I am happy to be a reliable resource of Beatles tardfaces :D The greatest thing is since today's B-Day, pictures and gifs are flowing out like endless rain into a paper cup.

Panic actually did remind me of the Beatles, so far as there's four strapping, (mostly) well-dressed men with a flower obsession and massive dorkitude, but gotta say Brendon's tardfaces got nothing on Lennon's :P

On the complete opposite end of the emotional spectrum, someone linked me a vid today of Paul doing a little DJ thing for radio, filmed as part of an interview. And he's charming and goofy and nostalgic and a teeny bit self mocking, then that fucker wraps up by playing John's "Beautiful Boy" and nearly loses it, all the while I'm clapping a hand over my mouth and generally being ;________; Whyyyy you do this to me, Paul?

Jesus, poor man :((( That's the most emotional I've ever seen him--like, it was really tacky of the press to go right to him and hound him after John was shot. then, he really couldn't afford to lose it in front of cameras, but now...

I really can't imagine how hard it is for him to listen to that song, in particular. It's just tragic. I really hope he's got some kind of closure ;__; Paaauuuul.
