EPISODE REACTION SPN 5.05
Okay, the plot was totally a pallet cleanser, and, awesome as this season has been, I predicted it'd happen sooner or later. And I didn't mind it at all. I'll be the first to admit, I like Paris Hilton. Yep. The gag she did for Funny or Die and her bit in Repo! The Genetic Opera made me like her, okay? And she beat up Dean. SHE BEAT UP DEAN. :DDD
The real story of 5.05 was character development. Finally, Sam calls Dean out on treating him like a little kid. AT fucking LAST they're growing out of the roles their dad set them in! Sam asks Dean to treat him like a peer, and Dean sees that he has to accept it to make it work. THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN SAYING. THIS IS HOW THEY'RE GOING TO SAVE THEIR RELATIONSHIP AND THE WORLD.
Now, whether this means they're going to leave their self-sacrificing modus operandi by the wayside, I can't tell. Old habits die hard, but the boys are turning over a new leaf. Looking at the endgame here, either they're both going to live or both going to die. Contemplating the Fred and George Weasley ending, though, where one lives and one dies...is too painful to bear contemplating.
Let's talk promo?
-Is the demon at the poker table MOTHERFUCKING CROWLEY?
-looks like the anti-christ child is out and about. O HAI ADAM YOUNG
-Castiel...is turning down a dark path. Shit, man. I'm concerned--in the show, every time that it's kill-one-to-save-the-many or best intentions, it turns bad. REALLY bad.
-old Dean, omgwtf
Things I'm excited for? Clearly this ep:

Is gonna be a Trickster episode. And I say to that...
