war is over (if you want it)
October 9, 1940-December 8,1980

I was fortunate enough to have been able to visit Strawberry Fields last June, in the good company of friends and strangers alike. I felt so lucky to be able to be a part of such a joyful, poignant gathering. On any day, any ordinary, run of the mill day, people can be found there, laying down flowers or playing music, being together, and that's the most extraordinary thing of all. It's very simple, uncomplicated happiness, singing with people you don't know, but have an understanding of. John didn't do it to us alone, but he's one corner of the that touchstone. We miss you, John.
I thought I'd just post some of my favorite pictures of John, group pics, gifs and vids and whatnot. I'm sure the post over at

I get by with a little help from my friends

I CAN'T HELP BUT LOL ♥

"Here Today" ♥
"All Those Years Ago" ♥
Paul performs "A Day In The Life" and "Give Peace a Chance" <3
I can barely watch this without tearing up, but it's so important and so rare that you see past Paul's PR-friendly face and really know how hard he clamps down and glosses over stories and details so he can keep his act together. anyone who says that he and John were entirely professional and not even friends doesn't know what the fuck they're on about. Two sides of the same coin.
Alright, that's my (comparatively short) spam. You all know where to find me ♥
