Grandpa died yesterday morning, Paul feels entitled as shit, both my uncles want to go against grandpa's wishes (not expressed in the will) and sell a house he meant to give to my dad, they all almost get into a knock down drag out with my brother John and Uncle Chest holding back Dad and Paul, respectively, Dad gets smashed with John and comes home and I see him cry for the first time ever and I can't do this anymore.

Ugh, this sort of family feuding is the worst. It's been a year and a half since my grandmother died and my mom and her sister are still fighting their other sister and their father in court over this stuff.

That's my way of saying I can totally relate. *hugs* Hopefully they'll be enlightened a lot sooner than my aunt and grandfather and just go along with your late grandfather's wishes. I don't understand why people can't respect the wishes of the dead.

It really brings out the worst in people. My dad's trying to do what's right, Chester's trying to do what's easy, Paul's trying to to what's best for himself, and they can't agree on anything. I hate to say it, but by not making things clear in the will is what allowed elbowroom for this kind of squabbling. I hate it.

It was Papa's wish, sure, but from what I understand, it's not in the will, just verbally expressed. Dad had his word, and Paul will contest anything if it meant he could profit.

Thanks bb :)
