[music|FALL OUT BOY!!!]
I'm tired as hell, but I need to do this before I forget stuff :D This will be extremely picture and video (YES, VIDEO!!) heavy ;-) Since most of the videos are over 100 MB, I decided to upload ALL of them for you all to download, eventually (i.e. when video hosting sites start cooperating with me again) :) And sorry for any ear bleeding; the chick sitting behind my row was tone deaf, but you can only hear her on certain songs :/
*EDIT* Download update: July 4th
Video for Patrick playing Nothing Compares To You and Golden is up!
Download update: July 5th
Video of nearly naked rockstars running onstage during +44's set is up!
Video of the beginning of Beat It is up!
Video of the end of Beat It is up!
Video of Patrick playing the Akon song is up!
Download update: July 8th
Video of Our Lawyers Made Us Change... is up!
Okay, I've figured out since my first concert-going experience last March (with MCR and on the floor, no less) that actually seeing a band live is the most exciting fucking thing you'll ever experience, besides maybe actually meeting the band, which I haven't quite done yet. But I'll get back to this a little later.
First, the gear:
Sam and I went down and made our shirts. If you've seen the misheard lyrics video for This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race, you'll get this :D

(I'm on the left, in the black fedora) Both of us wore striped black stockings under our pants, though hers were pink and black and mine were black and white (I totally color coordinated to them ^__^)
Okay, so I'll skip all the traveling shiznit and move right on to getting our seats. It was pretty awesome that while we were waiting, as music videos from various Decaydance artists were playing (My fav probably being the old version of Cupid's Chokehold, if not just for the fact that I find creepy, stalkery, robot Patrick extremely hot. I kid thee not, and yes, I know I'm weird.) Here's a pic from when I Write Sins, Not Tragedies was on

Just a mention, this was the LAST show of the Honda Civic Tour, and boy, what a show! Seriously, these guys may have ruined me for all other concerts (except for My Chem or another FOB show ~__^).
So first up was Cobra Starship, and, now don't crucify me here, I really haven't listened to Cobra before, nor +44, but shit, do I wish I had listened to them before the concert. Cobra was AMAZING, and Gabe is absolutely insane, and I loved every bloody minute of it! He was wearing the purple hoodie of doom, of course, and was totally getting down with his bad self, doing lots of hand movements, roaming, Michael Jackson-esque "WOOO"s :D Vicky T rubbed his ass, which made for great, great amusement for everyone :) By far, the most awesome part of their set was when bendy William Beckett came out and sang for the Snakes on a Plane song! (and Gabe made us put up our fangs!)
Oh, and members from other bands walked out and threw rubber snakes into the crowd. Guess who was included, besides William? Andy and Patrick! I just about had a fit, because it was like a confirmation of sorts. Yes, they really exist and I'm seeing them in person! It's so surreal to see people that you only know have existed as blurry spots on youtube or performers in a music video or voices/musicians on your iPod, but when I saw Patrick smiling and having a hell of a time giving us all a thrill, I saw a living, breathing person, and that warms my heart :) And he was cute as a button.
Cobra pics!

When William came out:

Moving on, I skipped Paul Wall entirely, cuz that just isn't my bag, but I did get a nifty Decaydance hoodie!

Sweeeeeet :)
Next up was The Academy Is..., and I must say, they are quickly becoming one of my favorite bands. William is so charismatic and active and the rest of the band just rocks so hard, and you can tell by their enthusiasm and how great they sound that they really love it up there and always put up 110% and don't take anything for granted, which is lovely :) Songs I can remember off the top of my head include The Phrase That Pays, Slow Down, LAX to O'Hare, Black Mamba, We've Got A Big Mess On Our Hands, and Everything We Had, not necessarily in that order.
And now, because you wanted it, Jen, I give you pictures and one video TAI song (LAX to O'Hare). I'm sorry I didn't go meet them up close, but the line was insane :(

I really don't know what I was expecting from +44, but FUCK, I love them so hard. I've liked Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker ever since blink-182, but this, IMHO, is way better than anything the did then. They totally kicked ass, but like I said, I hadn't followed them, so I don't know any of the songs :( Still, Mark is extremely amusing, giving us such gems as "Vicky, get your ass on the fucking stage RIGHT NOW!" and "This next song has a tempo of 155 beats per minute. COUNT IT, BITCHES!" LMAO! The best part by far was this:
No, don't adjust your computer moniter. Those really are nearly naked rockstars running across the stage. Yes, I love bandom, too.
Other +44 pics

Ya know, Fall Out Boy is wonderful to listen to, really. But as great as it is to blast them in my car or watch a music video, it is so much better to see them live, because A) confirmation that, yes, they are real people and stunning to watch in fluid motion B) they are showmen, through and through. They really know how to rock a crowd. I mean, they launch themselves onto the stage through the floor! I'll never get over how high Pete launched himself as opposed to how Patrick's all "Okay, I don't like heights" XD OMFG PATRICK ROCKS THE FUCK OUT, and don't I love it? ^__^ Andy looked wonderful in all his shirtless, heavily tattooed glory, same goes for Joe's serious rocking of the Jewfro <33333 I know they never get enough attention, but I gotta give it up for them playing a great show, and OMG Andy's drum feature leading into Dance, Dance was the shit! Go go, Andy! Also: PYRO AND (later) CONFETTI! Obvs, they are taking notes from MCR ^__^
I don't exactly remember the order, but the songs go something like: Thriller, the National Anthem i.e. Grand Theft Autumn, Sugar, We're Going Down, Our Lawyers Made Us Change..., Of All The Gin Joints..., Hum Hallelujah, I Slept With Someone in Fall Out Boy..., I'm Like a Lawyer..., Golden, Beat It (Cover!), Arms Race, A Little Less 16 Candles, One and Only, Thnks Fr Th Mmrs, Carpal Tunnel of Love, The Take Over, The Break's Over, Saturday
There was a song I didn't recognize, but I'm rather sure it was The Patron Saint of Liars and Saints, played while they were making guys do pushups :)
Pictures!

Miscellaneous thoughts when my mind wasn’t turned to mush from the absolute WIN:
Beat It is the song which Pete introduced as the greatest song ever written ^__^ Sorry, the first vid got cut off because I ran out of memory, but I deleting some bad pics and managed to catch Patrick's solo at the end too.
Now, early on Pete played prank on Patrick and put him on the spot to play a song solo on his guitar and sing, and the two were generally adorable at eachother ^__^ Like so:
Well, later Patrick actually speaks(!!!!!) and said, "Okay so since Pete played a prank on me, I'm going to play one on him", to the rejoicing of many a fan :D So, in vengeance he plays Nothing Compares to You on piano before segueing into Golden.
Sooooooo, pranking Patrick Stump results in more glorious solo Patrick goodness. Which, I think, is awesome. Peter Lewis Kingston Wentz III, I command you to prank Patrick more often ♥ If anyone didn't catch that, Patrick was singing Sinead O'Connor's Nothing Compares to You. To Pete. Do I even need to point out that the slash writes itself? :D
Otherwise, I was actually ridiculously happy that they played One and Only. Not only is it a good song, but you get to hear Patrick cuss :D And I’m still trying to figure out how they got Pete and Troh over in the middle of the pit during Dance, Dance. I totally would have stayed afterward to meet and greet, but Sam had work in the morning (Curses!) Anyways, awesome concert, and I’m really hoping to see them again in the fall when they tour with Gym Class Heroes ^__^
Downloads of stuff not already posted above (I will eventually get to all these, but as of right now the files are too big and I’ll likely have to split them in two) I reiterate, I’m uploading as I go :)
The Academy Is…
LAX to O’Hare, in which Bill Beckett dances awkwardly and I love him for it

Beat It (part 2), in which I scramble to catch Patrick's solo at the end.

Our Lawyers Made Us Change…, in which Patrick headbangs, among other incredibly sexy things.
One and Only into Dance, Dance, in which I wonder how the hell Pete and Joe got over there.

and frantically looked for PatrickXD Yeah, I already have three FOB shirts and I've been dying to get something Decaydance related, so the hoodie was absolutely perfect for that. I'm sorry you couldn't get one! D:Oh yesyesyes, his voice is just incredible! Patrick is absolutely amazing in everything he does, and I freaked when I recognized the song (thankfully, I didn't squeal because my camera would have caught it in the video ;-) ) also, seriously, if that's his way of getting back at Pete for his pranks, I want to be there with a camera every time ^__^
Psshhh, ranting is so allowed here ;-)

LOL if Patrick was running in underwear, I think I would've fainted.
I was actually picking between 2 shirts, the hemingway one or the blue shirt with the girl...and since everyone has the hemingway one, I got the blue one :P
haha yes! I would bring my camera too everytime he did that :D I can't get enough of his voice!

Yah, half nekkid boys jumping, skipping(!!) and running around will never not be entirely comprised of win. "Nothing Compares to You" *wibbles*
Also, "Beat It" into "Carpal Tunnel" is perhaps the best thing that's ever happened in the history of segues. Carpal Tunnel is my fave song on IoH ... possibly of all FOB songs.
Woooohoooo Going to see Panic!, GCH, TAI, THS the day after tomorrow! I wanna bring my camera but I don't want it to get confiscated. Plus I'll be out of town. :o(

besides orgasmic
