Elementary, practical, and yet appropriate as always

Okay, that anonmeme is seriously bumming me out.

I can't stand that there just seems to be this bastion of people that apparently are so shallow about appearances that they'd attack Patrick for being overweight/balding/etc. People are so obsessed with thin, sculpted, prepared looks that anything that's bigger than a size 2 is automatically disgusting, apparently; Patrick doesn't stand a chance.

It just...hurts, you know? I mean, I'm offended on his behalf, but it's not like we can all meet that kind of standard. It's horrible to think that all attractiveness boils down to what you look like rather than everything else that actually makes up a person. People would rather have nothing where there could be so much.

Fuck you, fandom. Fuck you sideways with a wooden spoon.

I hatehatehate the size zero vs big is beautiful thing that's going on. It usually ends up with a group of people who consider all size zero people anorexic and in order to be beautiful you have to be big, and one the other way round where they think the size zeros are the only people who are beautiful. It's lame.

Why the fuck would you rate attractiveness based on the size clothing you wear? Even if we're talking purely looks (and not what makes you attractive that's inside), there is a whole lot more to it than size.
